When was this film made?

Part 2 with Stephen Baldwin tries to capture the same feeling as the Original but fails. Basically Baldwin is the Coach/Captain, trying to make his team win so the frachise doesn’t get bought out by a rival, all while being in a complicated relationship with the owner(female). The Hanson’s are in it, but it’s not enough(funny though). I’d rather watch the Mighty Ducks. BTW my plot summary came after only watching 15mins. of the damn thing, so eh.

And is it just me, or is the new Slap Shot movies just absolute Hollywood family-oriented garbage for kids? (Not that I’ve seen ‘em, but I’ve got a funky feeling ’bout ‘em).

So like, I don’t get it. In this movie they talk about old-time hockey as being ‘clean’ etc. But I’m sure some people thesedays refers to the term old-time hockey as being more rough with scraps and so on.

one of the most underated films ever. Drama is easy. This film has it all.
